We are proud to announce a new artist joining our roster. We welcome the young and talented band Mokoomba, one of Zimbabwes leading dance bands of today. We were happy to work with them in the studio in Munich on the final touches of their upcoming album „Luyando“ to be out in February 2017.
Mokoomba embark on a journey that takes them back to the Tonga traditions of their home region in the north west of Zimbabwe on the banks of the Zambesi river. They revisit the traditional songs and ceremonies of their youth and revive them in a modern style. ‘Luyando’ (Love) is a lively energetic mix that puts this young band back on the map as one of the leading African dance bands of today, fresh but firmly in touch with their roots.
